I have to agree, in the experience I've had with trolls, they do come across as rather stupid. I got a comment once about one of my long SG-1 slash fics which basically read 'it was good but it would have been much better if it hadn't had Jack and Daniel fall in love, I don't like that pairing anyway, it would have been better if Jack fell in love with Sam.' I felt like pointing out to him/her that if they didn't like the Jack/Daniel pairing, not to read fics with them in it!!!

If it was labeled as such, there's no excuse. And if it wasn't, they still could have backed out after seeing the pairing.
