Thats going to be interesting. In the US they got money, so it is claimed but they are strict over there. His ego has really grown lately.

If he ruined Torchwood because of this he is not going to be popular

Yes, if anything I think the pressure for him to make a successful show here from the start will be greater. Because shows do get canceled mid-season or never even get picked up from a pilot.

I had a thought that I posted below. Maybe RTD has something in the works and wants GDL to star in it! If that's the case, of course, he had to make sure that GDL would be "free" from TW to do the next project...

So we're devastated, meanwhile he's cackling "they don't have any idea..."
