  • 08:23 Unless you're a die-hard Gwack fan, I'd suggest staying away from The Undertaker's Gift. Jack treats Ianto pretty abhorrently. #

Thanks for the warning. It's been sitting on my shelf for months, I haven't gotten around to it. Now I just might skip it, and read more Janto fanfic

Oh yuck. So it's not unlike a certain 5 part mini-series in that respect? I hate stories where Jack is an ass.

Bad enough when it's done in fanfic, but when so-called professionals do it, it's just not right.

Especially when then they ask us to believe and accept that Ianto HAD to die to push Jack over the edge...

I've been struggling with it and since it's the first TW book I've ever read, I was thinking how rubbish the books are. I have some audio books because although I'm a bookworm, I love listening to Gareth and John.

Anyway it's good to know that they're not all that bad, any suggestions of good ones?

Pack Animals, Twilight Streets, Almost Perfect and the audio book 'In The Shadows' are my favourites. The Bay of the Dead is also really rather good, but Twilight Streets is probably the best ^_^
