Very well done, natch. There's a fair amount of Jack bumping in there, too. He can be a prick. Sometimes, I find myself squinting to see what Ianto sees that makes it worth the trouble.
Which brings me to a question: Have we ever seen selfish prick!Ianto? All the others have their moments. Although I think Tosh and Ianto are the only two with the consistently reliable excuse that they did it for love. The only slightly selfish non-Lisa Ianto moment I can think of is the "who protects us?" Outburst in Countrycide.
This is why the Debenhams betrayal in CoE was such an outrage. It was as if they were saying, "He's not as nice as you think. Be happy we axed the lying bastard!" When, of course, we aren't the ones who neglected him into near perfection in the first place. Is Ianto too good to be true? Is that why we love him?
If I'm wrong, I'd love for someone to write the scene where someone takes Ianto to task for a flaw (other than niceness) that he has in canon.
