And isn't that another nitpick? Did Clem get his super secret powers of smell and ability to be used as a transmitter from simply being on the right road at the right time? Or was it an inherent ability, in which case OMG, what an amazing coincidence that out of all the kids in orphanages, they just happened to pick on a gifted kid to sacrifice.
