WTF? Are people actually citing that as an excuse? Seriously? IMO, Gwen shagged Owen because she could. All her 'needing somebody to talk to' was just so much bullshit to salve her own conscience. If she hadn't joined Torchwood, she would have probably ended up shagging Andy the first time she'd had a 'bad day'.
