The Time explosion that started it could have been Jack getting 'sploded, the complicated Time Even that he is (oh ... a complicated Time Event exploding under THE FREAKIN' RIFT, too), and that's what left cracks throughout the skin of the universe.
So they have to go back to 2009, stop Jack from 'sploding and sonic the 456 (since they were defeated by Evil Soundwaves, I'm guessing the sonic would have done the same job) and everything should be fine and dandy!
I'll have to think about maybe expanding on it. I'm thinking about TW Big Bang this round, and then I know I'm probably doing Reel_TW after that, as well as my current fics ... so it depends if I can find the time XD
