I apologise that you feel Ianto is degraded by this storyline, but really, this is not what is intended. It's just one of his and Jack's games.

I find that reaction to the storyline quite interesting, since Ianto willingly instigated the whole thing to begin with and set the Ground Rules for it. If that doesn't say he's okay with it, I don't know what would.
