I am in the same boat. I'll watch it, but I am not having much hope, despite the fact that I want to. Mostly because I don't want to become attached to characters only to have RTD kill them off randomly for the sake of "serious drama".

But being in Starz, and them having a say in the show, may curb some of RTD's tendencies. Except for the character death. I've been watching their Spartacus show. Damn, they are killing people off left and right. The last ep I just watched had me in tears.
