The Doctor's diagram is surprisingly concise and to the point. It's also strangely adorable. Huh. Of course Ianto has to inject himself in the end. He wouldn't really let Jack go through with killing him, not knowing how guilty it'd make Jack feel when if it all goes the shape of the pear.
