I love the True Blood books, but I just can't take the series seriously. The accent just makes me giggle, which is incredibly immature and probably a little bit racist, but that's the truth of it.

If you said to me 'Southern American Vampire', I'd think 'From the makers of 'Scary Movie', by any chance?'.

At least with the books I can pick their accents XD
