My friend/cheerleader/personal Hamster Enthusiast holyfrell has just nipped off to bed, so I'm going to post this in the hope she will find it in the morning and be pleasantly surprised.

She just got diagnosed with Tietzes Syndrome, which is an agonising swelling and inflammation of the cartilage that joins the ribs to the breast bone and causes her a lot of motherfucking bastard wankshite pain and discomfort, as well as being potentially a lifelong ailment.

I would very much appreciate it if you guys could all take one second to give her a hug!

I really hope things go well! From what I've read is very painful but how is it treated? Will she need surgery?

I gave her two hugs and will give more during the day.

There's nothing to treat it with as it's one of those things that appears randomly and goes when it wants to.

All I can do is take pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs, if i'm lucky, it'll go into remission and completely disappear..

However, if i'm unlucky it'll go away for a bit then come back again and so on... some people have had this disease for years, so as you can probably gather, i'm quite worried about it.

It's a nuisance and a bloody pain that's going to bother me for at least 6 weeks, gah! But Silver and caring people like you are keeping me happy so it's all good :P
