EVVVVVVIL! You are EVIL! And also, I LOVE YOU! And you are AMAZING, SUPERB, BRILLIANT! Ah! Ah! AH!
I somehow managed to scroll to the The End. but not far enough to see the (...kidding! I'm not RTD!) and I actually hypervenilated I was so distraught. All I could think was "NOOOOOO! NOT AGAIN!" Because, seriously, when I saw Day Four the first time, I literally sat in shock for the rest of the episode and had to rewatch it again later because I didn't actually register anything that happened after Ianto had died. (Yeah, I...get a bit too attatched to fictional characters...whatever, Ianto's the BEST!)

Anyways, back on the topic of your SPECTACULAR fic...I absolutely love what you've done here. The suspense, the tension, the actual PLOT. It's beautiful and well-crafted and I can't get over how well you've woven such a complex and meaningful story. I mean, there's political intrigue! How many fics do you get that actually delve into the realm of how government funded organizations struggle to help their intended while dealing with tiny budgets and general apathy? And the displaced time-rift refugees? I always thought that Flat Holm was such an interesting concept that just kind of faded into the background. And here you are incorporating that into this story! And not just as a device to get Ianto into the future, but as a meaningful subplot with lingering consqeunces! AH! I am just so, so, so excited by your fic and I'm going all nerdy over it. Yeah. So, two last comments to leave you with.
1) Little Jack - Such a brilliant concept and what beautiful development of his relationship with Ianto, Captain Jack, and Rhys. His character adds a complexity to the plot without becoming obnoxious or forced. What I mean is, he appears as a dynamic character who I actually want to read about as opposed to a random character whose appearances only serve as contrived plot devices. He's become a real person whose needs and concerns are being met by the plot.
2) Ianto - I am in awe of your characterization. I mean, particullarly in the first part of this latest chapter with his breakdown. His OCD and depression was utterly believable and unnervingly accurate. My dad has problems with OCD and I struggle with it some as well. It rang very true to me that when Ianto felt he had lost control he could no longer deny the compulsion. His refusal to take meds or talk to the doctor also seemed very true to character.

Oh man. Now that I've rambled on so much....I LOVE THIS FIC! PLEASE END THE SUSPENSE SOON (but not too soon!) and tell us what's become of darling Ianto and his mysterious attacker!
